Squarespace website design for Brand Designer
Cheeky Noot Studio
Cheeky Noot Studio is a brand designer for change-makers and purpose-led brands. Sunnie had already built the kind of brand world you want to poke around in immediately. Bold, expressive, purpose-led and completely her own.
The next move was turning all that Cheeky Noot goodness into a fuller website experience, with dedicated portfolio pages, stronger Google foundations and guided pathways for the change-makers Sunnie loves to work with.
WHERE WE STARTED
Sunnie came to me with an existing landing page that looked gorgeous, but Cheeky Noot was ready for a website with more room to do the good stuff. Competitors? No way. Just two designers ready to collab.
She needed dedicated portfolio pages to show off her work properly, stronger foundations to help her get found on Google, and a clearer way to speak to her purpose-driven clients without losing any of the Cheeky Noot charm.
All that juicy strategy work and market research pointed us in one very clear direction: this site couldn’t feel like a static portfolio wall. It needed to feel like a guided little wander through Sunnie’s work, thinking and personality, with enough structure behind the scenes to help visitors stay, explore and enquire.
The solution:
As part of the Web Legend package, we created a custom Squarespace website that gave Cheeky Noot more room to tell its story.
Because the branding was already brilliant, the job wasn’t reinvention. It was translation: taking all that personality, strategy and visual direction, then shaping it into a website people could properly move through.
We built the site around dedicated project pages, clearer calls to action, service sections with more shape, and little scroll moments that made the whole thing feel unmistakably Sunnie. Custom website design gave the pages structure, CSS added the little “ooh, cute” details, and Squarekicker brought in the scroll animations because, obviously, who else?
The goal was to keep the site expressive and wildly Cheeky Noot, while making sure the bones were doing their job: SEO foundations, portfolio structure, enquiry pathways and a smoother experience for the people Sunnie is here to work with.
The result:
A custom Squarespace site that feels playful, purposeful and properly Cheeky Noot, with the behind-the-scenes structure to help visitors understand the work and know where to go next.
The final site gives Sunnie’s portfolio more room, supports her visibility on Google, and turns her brand world into a website experience that feels less like scrolling through a wall of work and more like being invited into the full Cheeky Noot universe.
It captures the heart of the brand without flattening the fun, giving visitors a clearer way to explore Sunnie’s services, understand her work and get excited about making an enquiry.

Here’s what Sunnie said…
“She captured the heart of my brand so effortlessly and creatively.
What truly impressed me was her ability to bring my brand to life in a way that felt bold, quirky, and credible. That balance is really hard to nail, especially because my brand isn’t your average “aesthetic” - I wanted something fun and creative but still legit enough to reflect the fact that I have a real design model and educational purpose behind what I do.
Ruth completely got that. Her talent is undeniable.”
